This workshop explores the techniques of Surrealist poets, from automatic writing and exquisite corpse to collage and dream journaling. Through engaging exercises and readings, we will embrace chance, intuition and the unexpected.
This course is designed for poets of any level, including complete beginners. We will examine the historical context of Surrealism and practice techniques to access our subconscious, crafting poems that celebrate the uncanny.
